On the Selective Service application form, write that you are a Conscientious Objector to war. Keep a copy and mail the copy to yourself. Do not open the letter (to ensure the integrity of the post-marked date). Ask recruiters for their business card. Tell them that you are a Conscientious Objector to war. Follow up with a letter to the recruiter. Copy and keep for your file. Keep the Selective Service System informed. Let them know of any change of address through use of the change of address forms, available at your local post office.
